Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and forecasts in compliance with GAAP and company policies.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process, monitor budget vs. actual performance, and provide variance analysis and insights.
General Ledger Management: Oversee the maintenance of the general ledger, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled.
Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and develop the accounting team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Compliance & Audit: Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, standards, and internal controls. Coordinate external audits and implement recommended improvements.
Cost Accounting: Analyze cost structures and provide insights to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
Accounts Payable & Receivable: Oversee the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely processing and collection of invoices.
Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement best practices and process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounting function.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CMA certification preferred.
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP) and financial regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., JDE, Sage, ERP systems) and advanced Excel skills.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in financial reporting.
Pay Range: $120,000-$150,000
