We are looking for a collaborative and experienced Copywriter to join our Creative Marketing team. The ideal candidate will have experience partnering with marketing leaders, designers, and other cross-functional stakeholders and teams to develop compelling copy. They will be responsible for promotional, educational, and editorial copy, including marketing campaigns and paid ads. This individual should be well-versed in gaming culture and trends, and able to create copy that speaks to our unique audience.
This position reports to the Creative Director, and will work most closely with members of the Product Marketing team. They will also work cross-functionally with all other members of Glorious’ broader Marketing team.
The starting annual salary for this role is $55,000-$65,000 depending on knowledge, skills, experience, and education.
Write, revise, and publish written content of various lengths across multiple channels, including website copy, paid ads, email campaigns, blog posts, etc.
Collaborate regularly with the Product Marketing, Social Media, DTC, and Creative teams to understand what new content is needed, where it will be published, and which audience(s) it is for
Partner with SEO and paid media specialists to optimize both new and existing copy for peak performance and ROAS
Partner with internal marketing stakeholders to review the performance of existing content, determine what changes are necessary, and create an ongoing strategy for updates or changes
Own the Glorious brand voice and tone across all channels, driving and documenting any necessary changes
Document all daily updates to projects and copy changes/requests in Asana
Remain current on the Glorious product lineup, our competitors, and the gaming landscape in general so that our content stays current and we are able to serve our audience

Professional fluency in English
An Associate’s Degree in Professional Writing, English, Communications, or a similar field, or the equivalent combination of education and training
3+ years of copywriting experience, with demonstrated experience creating both short- and long-form copy for gaming, consumer electronics, or similar industries strongly preferred
A portfolio demonstrating the ability to produce and tailor copywriting and written content for multiple channels and customer segments (e.g. B2C website pages, retail advertising, physical product packaging, Amazon A+ content, paid ads, social media posts, email marketing campaigns, etc.)
Demonstrated knowledge of and enthusiasm for the gaming industry; any experience with peripherals including gaming mice, mechanical keyboards, etc. is a big plus!
Demonstrated ability to translate product concepts, technical specifications, and complex information into easily understandable copywriting
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders within a marketing team
Strong organization and project management skills, with the ability to balance multiple projects at once; experience with Asana is preferred, but not required
The ability to work without direct supervision for long periods of time
