Raytheon-Rafael Area Protection Systems (R2S) Joint Venture (JV) is seeking a proven, high performing
Financial Analyst to fill this key role supporting the Controller in a dynamic and growing joint venture. Ours is a noble mission with a vision and purpose focused on a global scale. This role will include activities supporting capture and execution of contracts for the Iron Dome AUR production as well as subcontracts in support of general operation of the business.
The selected candidate will be responsible for various tasks in accounting, financial analysis, planning, and monthly financial close and reporting activities for the company.
Other duties and responsibilities include: FP&A - Financial measurement and forecast of indirect spend
- Develop and manage tools to monitor and measure the Companys production facility
- Collaborate with program managers to provide financial insights and support program control analysis
- Assist with compiling the Companys Long Range Plan
Accounting - Ensure accurate and timely billing and invoicing
- Provide customers with accompanying schedules
- AR aging tracking and reconciling
- Assist in maintaining a strong internal control environment
- Assist with the month-end and year-end close processes
- Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested
Basic Qualifications: - At least 5 years of experience in financial and accounting roles
- Bachelors degree in business administration or related fields
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is preferred. U.S. citizenship is required
Preferred Qualifications: -
- Masters degree/CPA
- At least two years working experience with governmental accounting
- Active Clearance.
- Experience in a government contracting environment with DoD and non-DoD customers.
Work Location: Remote within reasonable commuting distance to Washington DC.
Travel: 25% mainly within the United States with some potential overseas travel.
