P/T SPED (Special Education) Tutor - General Ed. for K-8 job at Tutoring of Nashville Mount Juliet, TN, US

Job Description

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with special education needs? Do you have experience working with students who have ADHD or dyslexia? We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Elementary Teacher to join our roster of Tutors. Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one instruction to students with special needs, focusing on areas such as reading, writing, math, and social skills.
Adapt teaching methods and materials to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
Monitor and track student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed.
Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to develop appropriate support plans and interventions.
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel safe and supported.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field or Certified Teacher with previous experience working with SPED student.
Previous experience working with students with ADHD, dyslexia, or other learning disabilities.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with students with special needs.
