This role will be based in New York City. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. The Level 1 Technical Product Manager (TPM) will manage a substantial portfolio of products with an annual budget of up to $50 million, contributing to revenue of around $750 million. The ideal candidate will have technical expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and enterprise CRM systems to support a user base of more than 20,000 colleagues.
We will count on you to: - Partner with Product Managers and domain architects to create and execute a multi-year vision for the application portfolio, including assessing new technology requirements and modernization approaches.
- Champion Agile methodologies within the team, implementing effective practices such as Scrum, Kanban, or Lean to enhance productivity.
- Manage the portfolio budget, balancing Change the Business (CTB) and Run the Business (RTB) spending while planning for application lifecycle transitions.
- Lead cost and value analysis of new features and functionality, impacting the overall technology roadmap.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to prioritize product backlogs, ensuring information security requirements and technical debt reduction are addressed.
What you need to have: - Approximately 10 years of experience including a bachelor's degree in computer science, a related degree, or relevant experience.
- Proven experience in managing the technology strategy of one or more products (such as Dynamics 365), with a strong background in enterprise data strategies.
- Expertise in technology strategy and roadmap planning, including budgeting

- Familiarity with Agile, waterfall, and hybrid methodologies.
- Certifications in Microsoft Dynamics 365 or in Microsoft Azure.

Marsh McLennan is committed to hybrid work, which includes the flexibility of working remotely and the collaboration, connections and professional development benefits of working together in the office. All Marsh McLennan colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. Office-based teams will identify at least one “anchor day” per week on which their full team will be together in person.
The applicable base salary range for this role is $155,700 to $311,400.
The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
