Metropolitan Health Group, a leading outpatient clinic, is currently seeking a qualified and dedicated X-Ray Technician to join our team. As an X-Ray Tech, you'll be a vital part of our healthcare team, utilizing your skills and expertise to help diagnose patient conditions.

• Greet patients and prepare them for x-ray procedures.
• Explain procedures to patients to reduce anxieties and obtain patient cooperation.
• Position patients and adjust equipment to obtain the best view of specific body area as requested by the physician.
• Implement protocols for patient safety and minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff.
• Operate and maintain x-ray equipment to produce clear and precise diagnostic images.
• Ensure accurate patient identification and maintain patient records.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare team members.
• Follow HIPAA regulations for patient privacy.
• Keep work area and equipment clean and orderly.

Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification.
• State licensure as an X-Ray Technician, where applicable.
• Excellent patient service skills and the ability to explain complex procedures to patients.
• Strong knowledge of safety and infection control procedures.
• Must have good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Computer skills, including the use of electronic health record systems.
